In the afternoon, go to Gandan Camel City, experience horseback riding, camel riding, sandboarding, feeding the Meihuahua deer and enjoying the Mongolian song and dance performance.

Khoomei is a unique form of Mongolian throat singing where the performer produces two or more distinct tones simultaneously. Traditionally sung by herders in the vast steppe, it mimics the sounds of nature—like wind or flowing water—and reflects a deep spiritual connection to the land. Khoomei is both an art form and a form of storytelling, often passed down through generations.
Mongolian clothing, known as deel, is a colorful and functional garment that reflects the nomadic lifestyle. Made from wool, cotton, or silk, it protects against harsh climates and allows freedom of movement on horseback. Each region and tribe has its own style, adorned with symbolic patterns and embroidery.
Mongolian dance features graceful yet powerful movements inspired by daily life, animals, and the natural world. Dancers often imitate the motion of horses or eagles, showcasing agility and strength. Traditional dances are accompanied by instruments like the morin khuur (horsehead fiddle), and are commonly performed at cultural celebrations and rituals to express joy, respect, or blessings.
Mongolian wrestling, or Bökh, is the most revered traditional sport in Mongolian culture. It has no time limit or weight classes, and the goal is to make the opponent touch the ground with any part of the body other than the feet. Wrestlers wear a distinctive costume with open-chested jackets and shorts, and matches begin with a symbolic eagle dance.
The iconic cuisine of traditional Mongolian feasts is made from whole sheep roasted in a special process. The skin is golden and crispy, the meat is tender and juicy, and the aroma is overflowing. Team members share it together to symbolize unity and prosperity.
Originating from the traditional feast of the Manchu people, it consists of eight dishes with different specialties. Including braised pork, white meat with pickled vegetables, stewed mushrooms and other flavors, meat and vegetables with a variety of flavors, allowing team members to taste the authentic flavor of the Northeast.
Almond tea is a traditional Mongolian and northern Chinese beverage made from finely ground sweet almonds (or apricot kernels), rice, and sometimes milk or sugar. It is smooth, creamy, and naturally fragrant, offering a comforting warmth especially in cooler climates.
This hearty dish features lamb spine cuts simmered in a flavorful broth. The meat becomes tender and rich in taste, perfect for sharing among friends or family. Lamb spine hot pot is popular in both Mongolian and northern Chinese cuisine and is especially loved for its warming qualities during colder seasons.
Chive flower sauce is a pungent, savory condiment made from pickled chive blossoms, garlic, and fermented soybeans. It’s a staple on Mongolian dining tables, often used as a dipping sauce for boiled meats or as a flavor enhancer in noodles and hot pot. Its strong aroma and distinctive taste leave a lasting impression.
Mongolian lamb skewers are grilled over open flames and seasoned with cumin, chili flakes, and salt. The meat is juicy and slightly charred, offering a smoky flavor that captures the spirit of grassland barbecues.
